Tetsuji Nabeshima

Contemporary artist. Born in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture. Graduated from Kyushu Sangyo University, Faculty of Arts, Department of Fine Arts, Painting Course in 1996.
He creates paintings and dolls ranging from drawings to Howape. After working on the streets, he now holds an annual solo exhibition titled Distortion Pops.
In recent years, he has created works such as Howamimikku, which uses faux fur as a canvas.
His basic motifs are things that are closely related to him, and many of his works are impulsive and influenced by pop culture, but in his latest painting, Fancy Corners, he also ventures into abstract images.
